Your Questions, Answered

  • I provide practical, proportionate health and safety support for businesses, organisations, and event professionals.

My services are designed to be flexible, whether you need one-off advice, project-based support, or ongoing health and safety management. This includes:

    • Health & Safety advice and consultancy

    • Risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)

    • Event health and safety planning and documentation

    • Policy development and reviews

    • Compliance audits and gap analysis

    • Contractor and supplier safety support

    • Ongoing retained support for businesses and events

I work closely with clients to understand their activities, risks, and legal duties, then provide clear, usable solutions that actually work in practice — not generic templates that sit on a shelf.

If you’re unsure what level of support you need, I’m happy to discuss your requirements and recommend the most appropriate service. You can view my full range of services or get in touch to arrange an initial conversation.

  • I take a practical, real-world approach to health and safety.

Rather than overloading clients with generic documents or unnecessary bureaucracy, I focus on proportionate, workable solutions that meet legal requirements and actually fit how your business or event operates.

I actively work with clients to bring appropriate elements of health and safety in-house. Where possible, I help you develop the knowledge, systems, and confidence to manage day-to-day health and safety internally. I aim to reduce long-term costs while improving ownership and accountability.

My role is to support, upskill, and advise, stepping in where specialist input is needed, rather than tying you into ongoing consultancy you don’t require.

  • My pricing is flexible and depends on the type and level of support you need. I maintain a strong focus on adding long term value, not creating unnecessary dependency.

I typically work on one of the following bases:

    • Day rates for onsite support or dedicated administrative work.
This is ideal for event delivery, site visits, audits, inspections, or short-term project support.

    • Monthly retainers for ongoing health and safety support.
Retainers provide consistent, proactive support and are well suited to businesses or event organisations that need regular advice, document management, and compliance oversight.

    • Project-based fees for defined pieces of work.
This includes items such as event safety planning, risk assessment packages, policy development, or specific compliance projects. A fixed price is agreed in advance so there are no surprises.

  • I provide health and safety support across the UK and beyond.

With physical bases in Brighton & Hove and the West Midlands, I regularly support clients throughout:

    • London

    • The South East

    • The Midlands

In addition to this, I work with organisations and event teams nationwide, offering both onsite and remote support depending on what’s most appropriate for the project.

I’m also open to international travel where specialist health and safety support is required, particularly for events, projects, or organisations operating outside the UK but requiring UK-aligned standards or experienced on-the-ground support.

If you’re unsure whether I can support your location or project, please get in touch. I’m always happy to discuss options.

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. I’m here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.

Many clients value that I work with them, helping them take ownership of their health and safety while knowing specialist support is always available when required.

  • Getting started is simple.

The first step is to get in touch via the contact form or direct email, with a brief outline of what you need support with. You don’t need to have everything figured out. A short description of your business, event, or project is enough.

From there, I’ll review your requirements and either:

    1. Recommend the most appropriate service, or

    2. Arrange a short call to talk through your needs in more detail

Once we’ve agreed the scope of support, I’ll provide a clear proposal setting out what’s included, timescales, and costs. No hidden fees or unnecessary extras.

I’ll guide you through the process and make sure everything is clear, proportionate, and tailored to your situation.
